Our Team Needs You

    My Goals and Pledges

Principles to protect state funds, improve trust, and strengthen Alabama’s future.
    State Funds – State Banks
    SECURITY
I will keep state monies within banks that are headquartered within the State of Alabama. I do not believe banks from other states should be entitled to our taxpayer money leaving our state.
    Transparency
    ACCOUNTABILITY
I will form a public website that will disclose what and where public funds are being spent. This will be an easy way for you, the taxpayer, to see how much money is coming back into your county or city. Consider this the Alabama form of DOGE.
    Economic Growth
    PROSPERITY
I believe the State Treasurer is a tremendous resource that can be used to promote economic growth in cities and counties across the state. I will be happy to assist Legislators and Economic Developers as they recruit industry within your area. Few people have the ability to get an audience with decision-makers from large corporations as a State Treasurer. I will use that position to promote economic growth in the state.

Steve Lolley’s Alabama DOGE initiative is focused on transparency and accountability in state spending. By creating a publicly accessible platform that clearly shows where taxpayer dollars are allocated, his goal is to give citizens a simple and direct way to track how funds are used across Alabama’s counties and cities.
