My Goals and Pledges

Steve Lolley’s Alabama DOGE initiative is focused on transparency and accountability in state spending. By creating a publicly accessible platform that clearly shows where taxpayer dollars are allocated, his goal is to give citizens a simple and direct way to track how funds are used across Alabama’s counties and cities.
Background and Experience
Steve’s leadership extends beyond banking, reflecting a lifelong dedication to service, community, and family. He and his wife, Sherrae, have been married for 38 years and are proud parents of two married daughters and grandparents to two grandchildren.
Steve was also appointed by Governor Fob James to serve on the Alabama State Banking Board, further demonstrating the trust placed in his financial leadership and professional judgment. That experience provided him with a deeper understanding of the responsibilities involved in overseeing banking practices and protecting Alabama’s financial interests.
